Me formé como técnico en realización de espectáculos pero mi pasión por contar historias me llevó a cursar un máster en dirección de cine documental en la escuela Ecib de Barcelona. He tratado de mostrar algunas realidades con el propósito de lograr cambiar algo en el engranaje del sistema, siempre desde abajo. Mis documentales exploran la parte humanista de los conflictos sin caer en el victimismo o la falsa esperanza. He trabajado en solitario en todos mis proyectos, pero en la actualidad, busco expandir mis fronteras para llevar a cabo proyectos más ambiciosos que puedan tener un impacto visible en la sociedad.

Ángel seeks messages that can travel beyond borders, using documentary filmmaking as a catalyst to convince people that another world is possible. He tackles universal themes, delving into current conflicts such as the energy and climate crises, social exclusion, and art, among others. He is currently developing his own projects as a producer and director for Odine doc. One of these projects is *Guerreras por la Amazonia*, which follows four teenagers who live and fight for their rights and the rights of nature in the Global South. *Salvador*, in production, tells the story of the personal discovery of lost roots.

I trained as a technician in stage production, but my passion for storytelling led me to pursue a master’s degree in documentary filmmaking at the Ecib school in Barcelona. I have tried to showcase certain realities with the purpose of changing something within the system’s gears, always from the bottom up. My documentaries explore the humanistic side of conflicts without falling into victimization or false hope. I have worked solo on all my projects, but now, I am looking to expand my boundaries in order to carry out more ambitious projects that can have a visible impact on society.
